The DN500 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. Along with the DN400, it was the initial model in the new Darkstone series.

The DN500 features a sapele body with top binding mated to a set-in sapele neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with special block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and a Tight Tune bridge and tailpiece.

A limited white edition was introduced in 2009, and it returned in the regular lineup for 2010.

The DN500K is a similar model with cosmo black hardware. The DN1PRM is a special edition of the DN500 with an aluminum body decoration and red accents which was produced for the 2010 Winter NAMM show.

The DN500 was discontinued after 2012.
