The DN400 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. Along with the DN500, it was the first model in the new Darkstone series.

The DN400 features a sapele body mated to a set-in sapele neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Components include a Tight Tune bridge and tailpiece and dual Ibanez HS1 humbucker-sized single coil pickups.

One distinctive feature of the DN400 is it's Aged Plaster crackle finish.

The DN400 did not return in 2010. Another single-coil Darkstone model, the DN600, was introduced for 2010.
