The BL1025 is a Blazer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1997. The Blazer series is a line of guitars with styling similar to the Fender Stratocaster.
The BL1025 features an alder body bolted to quartersawn hard rock maple multi-radius neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups in an HSH configuration, Sperzel locking tuners and a Wilkinson non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge. The pickups include coil-split functionality to offer a wide range of single-coil, humbucker or combination tones.
The neck of the BL1025 goes through six additional steps of oiling and hand finishing to offer the utmost comfort and playability.
The BL825 is a similar model with a different bridge and without the extra neck detailing.
The BL1025 was discontinued after 1998 along with the entire Blazer line.
