The 473S is an SV series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 1992.

The 473S features a mahogany body with a 24¾" scale Viper neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups flanking a single-coil, a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge and Gotoh locking tuning machines.

The 473S is among a small number of S series models with a non-locking tremolo. It also sports the new, sculpted All-access neck joint rather than a traditional bolt-on joint with a metal plate. Although it doesn't have an SV model name, it is considered part of the SV series due to its Viper neck.

The 473S was offered only in the US and was discontinued after only one year.
